Mandatory prior to Placement

This workshop covers the legal requirements concerning equality, diversity and inclusion and explores the obligations and limitations thereof.  Culture, the need for difference and for similarity, and the ways in which we assess and evaluate each other are also explored. Specifically, it covers:

• Understanding what we mean by difference, diversity, equality, inclusion and equity.
• Exploring our own prejudices and biases.
• Reviewing how to work with diversity in a therapeutic environment.
